Updated: Covid-19 financial support and resources
With large parts of the country once again battling covid outbreaks, and trying to navigate a constantly evolving restriction landscape, both federal and state governments have outlined a range of updated COVID-19 financial support measures for those who are finding it especially tough. We’ve put together a list of handy links that we hope will be helpful to you in navigating the weeks ahead, should you need it.

Loan repayment support + financial hardship
If you are experiencing financial difficulty or think you might experience difficulty soon that will affect your ability to make loan repayments, we want you to know that there are options available to you. All banks in Australia have a financial hardship department and they are available to help tailor a temporary solution to help you through a period of financial difficulty. The major banks have outlined a range of existing options that might help ease the stress many customers are facing due to the recent COVID-19 lockdown measures in NSW here.
Arrangements such as a repayment pause, or extension of your loan term, are some of the most common arrangements that can be made. If you feel like you need some temporary support, you can reach out to our friends at Pure Finance, who can help you get the process started. It’s important to note that applying for financial hardship does not affect your credit rating, and is a confidential arrangement between you and your lender.
